During adjustment training in Matsu, a logistics officer asked whether anyone had a computer science background, and I volunteered. Because the environment was air-gapped and I could not install development tools, I chose vanilla HTML/CSS/JavaScript and built a local browser application that generated randomized duty assignments and printable schedules. I completed and handed off the tool before training ended and received formal recognition for the contribution.
