Personal Statement

I’m Pin-Hsiu Kuo from Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Minecraft sparked my interest in information systems and led me to teach myself web development before college—building a class website and an anonymous campus network. At Feng Chia University, I broadened my toolkit (C++, Java, Python) and tackled increasingly complex projects. I launched and ran successful game servers serving thousands of players—learning leadership, community operations, and real-world business under pressure. One outcome is a secure financial management platform that now processes millions for 100+ merchants. Turning ideas into reliable, scalable products is what I love. I live by “No experiment, no experience,” and I’m always seeking the next problem to solve and the next system to build.
